Gamescom2014からPaxPrime2014へ そして次は…

『Cafe SWERY65』へようこそ。
初めまして！ウェイターのIMAIです。
今日はCafeオーナーのSWERYに代わりまして私が担当させて頂きます。
さて、肝心のSWERYはですね、TwitterやFacebookでご存じの方も
多いかと思いますが、ドイツのケルンからオランダのアムステルダムへ渡航。
そして日本に帰ってきたとたんにアメリカ、シアトルへ…。
そうです、「D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die」のPRのために世界中を
飛び回っていています。
そのSWERYから近況の連絡や現地での写真が届いておりますので
ご紹介しますね。

Gamescom2014
今回の目的はGamesComが行われているケルンメッセにてインタビューと
異国の地でのPR映像撮影です。
会場でのインタビューでは沢山のメディアに囲まれ、D4の魅力をたっぷりアピール！
その後もブースで談笑して和やかなムード。PRの滑り出しは上々のようです。
是非仲良くなった方々に、Cafeへ来店して頂きたいものですね。
PR映像撮影の方はといいますと、天候には恵まれなかったようです。
でも、そこはSWERYですから、いつものポジティブさと想像力で、
きっと面白い映像をお届けできるはずです。
「いつ頃見ることが出来るの」だって？
…慌てない慌てない。美味しい珈琲を入れる際にはお湯を注いでから
じっくり蒸らすのがコツです。同じように今は面白さの抽出中ってところです。
間もなく完成だと聞いていますよ♪
クリエイター仲間に誘われてGamesCom PartyとGamesCom Concertにも参加してたって！？
う、うらやましい…。
仲間とビールを片手にD4の話をしたり、ゲームの話をしたり、
時にはまじめにビジネスの話をしたり。1000人以上の参加者で凄い盛り上がり！
私の元に、楽しそうな写真が沢山届いていますよ。
とんでもない規模と熱量と人、それを町ぐるみで盛り上げる大きなイベント。
日本も負けていられませんね！

PaxPrime2014
さて次はアメリカはシアトル。PaxPrimeです。
ここでは著名クリエイターと共にパネルディスカッションを行います。
SWERYだけ通訳が途中で挟まるのでテンポがいまいちでしたが
うまく訳してくれたので会場からは結構笑いも出ていて、皆さんにうまく伝わったようですね。
見に来てくれた方々のゲームに対する熱い気持ちもきっと講演者達に伝わっているはずです。
あ、写真では直前の様子がとらえられていますねｗ
帰国中、改めてPaxPrimeの大きさや、熱量、そして他のショーよりも有意義に感じたとのこと。
是非来年も注目していきたいイベントですね！
さて、GamescomとPaxPrimeでD4のメディアインタビューを受けたり、PR活動を行ってきたわけですが、
次の目的地は…
そう、TOKYO GAME SHOW 2014です。
もちろん、ここでもあんな事やこんな事を計画中です。
そして皆さんが一番欲しいD4の情報なんかもお伝えできるかも
会場のどこかでSWERYと皆さんがお会いできることを楽しみにしています。

Welcome to Cafe SWERY.
Nice to meet you! I'm IMAI, the waiter here at Cafe SWERY. Today, I'm filling in for SWERY, the owner.
If you've been following SWERY on Twitter or Facebook, you're probably aware that he recently visited Cologne and Amsterdam. Then, right after he got back to Japan, he immediately traveled to Seattle! That's right... in order to help spread the word about D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, he's been flying all over the world.
Here, we'll be introducing some pictures and news from SWERY's travels.

Gamescom2014
On this trip, his goal was to do interviews in Cologne, where GamesCom was being held, and to film some PR footage in this foreign land.
He was surrounded by media people at GamesCom, so he really got to show off all the appeal of D4! Afterwards, he had a pleasant, relaxing chat at the booth. Our PR really seemed to be going well. We wish all our friends could come visit our cafe as well!
Unfortunately, he didn't really see any good weather when we were filming the PR. But you know SWERY! No matter how bad the weather got, he was always overflowing with positivity and creativity, and we're sure that you'll enjoy the videos he filmed.
"When can we see them," you ask? Don't panic. No need to rush things here. It's important to take your time in steaming the coffee after putting the hot water in, in order to make it really delicious. We're extracting all the fun right now.
I've also heard that we'll be finished quite soon!♪
A fellow creator invited SWERY to the GamesCom Party and the GamesCom Concert!
I-I'm so jealous...
With a beer in one hand, he talked with his friends about D4, as well as other games, and sometimes even got serious for some business talk. Over 1,000 people attended this, so it was a really exciting event! He sent a lot of fun pictures back to me.
It ended up being a huge event that enveloped the entire town, with an unbelievable amount of people, areas, and passion. Japan's gotta try harder!

PaxPrime2014
Next, SWERY went to Seattle for Pax Prime. Here, he put on a panel discussion with other creators.
The tempo could have been better, since SWERY had to communicate through a translator, but the translator did a very good job, so a lot of the audience was smiling, meaning his message must have gotten across. Their passion toward games probably reached the speakers as well. The photo captures the moment right before that! (LOL)

(LOL)On his way back, SWERY felt that the scale of Pax Prime, as well as the passion of the people there, was more significant than other shows he had attended. It's definitely going to be an event to watch for next year!
And so, after doing media interviews about D4 at both GamesCom and Pax Prime, and doing some more PR, his next stop was...
Yes! Tokyo Game Show 2014!
He's got a lot planned for this one. He might even supply some long-awaited news about D4 to his fans SWERY's really excited to run into all his fans at the event.
